Automated Irrigation Pump Station

A purpose-built PumpWise control system configured around the operating requirements of an irrigation site.

APPLICATION

Irrigation

REGION

Regional Queensland

COMPLETION DATE

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Coordinating three pumps across varying demand

This installation involved a three-pump irrigation station supplying an existing distribution network. The controller was configured to respond as irrigation zones were opened and closed.

Pump operation, pressure feedback and fault information are brought together at the control panel, giving operators a straightforward view of the station.

SYSTEM ARRANGEMENT

Pressure control that responds to demand

The controller uses pressure feedback to adjust the operating pump and bring additional pumps online when required. The diagram illustrates the water path, not a detailed control schematic.
